Parallel unit refers to a refrigeration unit composed of two or more compressors in parallel sharing a set of refrigeration circuit. According to different refrigeration temperatures and capacities, there are various forms of parallel units. The same set of units can be composed of compressors of the same model (such as piston machines) or different models of compressors (such as piston machines and screw machines). It can load a single evaporation temperature or several different evaporation temperatures; It can be a single level system or a dual level system; It can be a single cycle system, a cascade system, etc. The advantage of parallel units is high reliability: when one compressor in the unit malfunctions, other compressors can still continue to work normally; Another advantage of parallel units is high efficiency and low operating costs: multiple units operate in parallel, automatically balancing the operating time of each head, extending the lifespan of the units by more than 30% compared to single unit units. Parallel units save 30-50% more electricity than single unit units. Compressors, fluid reservoirs, gas-liquid separators, oil separators, intercoolers, return gas manifolds, liquid supply manifolds, and electrical control equipment are all concentrated together. After ensuring sufficient operating space, the equipment occupation space is minimized as much as possible, fully saving the area of the computer room.
